Overheard while walking into the exhibit hall at the Zend PHP Conference:

A girl (dressed in company X attire, speaking to a guy next to her): I don’t do sex. I just practice a lot.

    +1 on the complaint about those Windoze (?) characters being ugly on the previous blog entry.

    Sorry, man.

    Convert them to legal HTML Entities or something.

    There’s a nice function in the User Contributed notes at php.net that does it.

    Actually, several variants on the theme, and you can pick the one that fits your coding style.

    Oh yeah, to get with the current entry…

    No snappy comeback like “Maybe we should practice together”? :-)

    Yep, that’s what I get for using Perl-based software (MoveableType). Time to upgrade to WordPress.
